Museum Visit: Brooklyn Museum of Art

Museum Tour(Web)AHL Foundation visits the Brooklyn Museum’s storage to see Korean art works on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 1 pm to 3 pm. The special visit is organized by the courtesy of Dr. Joan Cummins, curator of Asian art at the Brooklyn Museum. Dr. Kyunghee Pyun of the AHL Foundation arranged this occasion for a group of art collectors and general audience. Because the viewing room is small, a limited number of people who contacted the AHL Foundation in a manner of first-come-first-served would be invited.

Brooklyn Museum of Art has many precious art works from Three Kingdoms, Unified Silla, Koryo as well as Joseon dynasties. Koryo celadon vases presented to Horace Underwood and Louis Severance by Emperor Gojong are also part of its collection.

Those who want to join the tour should contact the AHL Foundation at their earliest convenience.
