“Public art is art in any media that has been planned and executed with the intention of being staged in the physical public domain, usually outside and accessible to all.” This course examines how Modern Artists and Contemporary Artists create their Public Art projects in order to read and interpret their artistic perspectives and expressions. The stories of artistic and historical contexts will help us better understand our culture and society as active life long-learners in the 21st century.

Instructor: Jinyoung Koh
