Art History Class

Exhibitions of 2016

This course explores history of art through exhibitions held throughout the U.S. in 2016. The class discusses major artistic movements, various groups of artists, and contemporary art scenes. Students can visit the exhibitions after class with better knowledge and understanding of cultural and historical backgrounds.

Instructor: Jeehey Kim, Ph.D. 

Jeehey Kim is PhD candidate in art history program at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She is currently teaching history of art, twentieth-century photography, and East Asian visual culture at Kingsborough Community College, City University of New York, Montclair State University and Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
