Overview
The AHL (Art, Humanity, and Love) Foundation is pleased to announce the open call for AHL – Chun Family Foundation Curatorial Fellowship.

The one-year AHL–Chun Family Foundation Curatorial Fellowship provides a $3,000 stipend and hands-on curatorial experiences to an emerging curator of Korean heritage. The Curatorial Fellow will be provided with the opportunity to assist with AHL’s exhibition programs including opportunities to curate his/her own exhibition during the fellowship. An ideal candidate would be an aspiring curator in a Masters or Ph.D. program in art history or related field with an emphasis on contemporary art. The Fellowship supports AHL’s goal to encourage curatorial research and greater diversity within the curatorial field.

**Fellowship recipient must attend the Benefit Gala & Awards Ceremony to receive the award**

Eligibility

  • Must be of Korean heritage.
  • Must be matriculated in an MFA Degree or has worked as a professional curator for at least one year.
  • Must be able to commit to a one-year fellowship appointment starting September 2018.
  • Must have authorized working status in the United States.

Application Requirement

  • Cover letter stating interest in the fellowship position
  • Completed application form
  • Full curriculum vitae of education, professional experience, honors, awards, and publications
  • Two writing samples (in English)
  • Contact information for two references
  • Confirmation Letter of Academic Status (candidacy or degree conferred)
